Some light reading

The meaning of “The American Dream” has evolved over the years.  First referenced in 1931 by James Truslow Adams in his narrative, The Epic of America, that dream has been constructed and destructed by many forces in the decades since.

David Kamp assesses the state of that dream in 2009 in his Vanity Fair feature, “Rethinking the American Dream.”  Some thought-inducing material for those of us wondering what comes next.
