Too sad for words

I’d like to find the words to write about the “accident” that claimed the lives of Nick Adenhart, Courtney Stewart, and Henry Pearson, but there are none that could do justice to the senseless tragedy that unfolded early Thursday morning.

Bill Shaikin of the Los Angeles Times wrote a poignant piece for the paper that provides a stark, simple profile of Jim Adenhart in the hours after his son’s death.

And, in a glimmer of good news, there is a report this morning that the fourth passenger, Jon Wilhite, is expected to survive.

But make no mistake – this was no accident.  Murder is the only term that can accurately describe it.
