The future of the past is now

Great news for movie buffs – specifically, for those who have a desire to experience vintage Hollywood stars for the first time in movies long-forgotten in the pantheon of music history.

Warner Bros. Studios has opened up its vault and made a selection of rare films available, going all the way back to the 1920’s.

NPR’s Weekend Edition took a look inside “Hollywood’s Attic” with film critic Desson Thomson to provide a little perspective on what can be found in the Warner Bros. Archive Collection.

Check it out for yourself.  As Thomson says, “It’s like going through Hollywood’s attic and, you know, finding all those crazy, quirky photos and family relics that you’d forgotten all about.”
