(Not just) another sports website

I didn’t need to bookmark another sports website – I just didn’t.  But even with all of the great sites that I utilize in research for this blog, the reality is that somebody out there was bound to find the next great idea to provide new content to sports fans.

And sometimes, it is so simple as to be genius.  Such is the concept behind sportsradiointerviews.com.  Can you guess what they’re about?

Sports Radio Interviews

The fantastic thing about good sports radio is that the format takes some of the starch out of the standard print or TV interview.  A good interviewer can get their subject to open up in ways that you just can’t duplicate through other forms of media.  No doubt a big part of that is the freedom that the interviewees have to answer the questions from literally anywhere in the world that suits them at that very moment.

And the great idea to compile these interviews from radio stations across the country (with healthy doses of transcript highlights to go along with links to audio) means that I’ll be checking back to peruse the latest batch of entries from the wide world of sports at sportsradiointerviews.com on a regular basis.

Click around the site when you get a chance.  Archived interviews are sorted in easy-to-find categories and the daily posts cover a solid cross-section of sports and subjects.

I’ve been slow to find SRI (they’ve been posting since October), but better late than never.  And I’m here to share.
