Sir Paul drops by for a visit

It doesn’t get much cooler than this in the world of late night television.  More than 45 years after taking the stage with the Beatles in their debut US television appearance on “The Ed Sullivan Show”, Sir Paul McCartney returns to the very same stage this coming Wednesday (July 15th) to make his first appearance on “The Late Show with David Letterman”.

Be sure to set your recording device of choice and don’t miss the scheduled interview and musical performance.  McCartney stole the show this past spring at Coachella and is timing this television appearance to promote his upcoming month-long US tour, through mid-August.

McCartney recently released his third album under the pseudonym The Fireman, another well-reviewed addition to an unbelievable career.

McCartney still brings it.  Wednesday’s visit with David Letterman in Manhattan is sure to be another reminder why we need to appreciate him all the more after nearly five decades in the spotlight.
